We asked our staff about their experiences with our volunteers

The kitchen at the Cottage Social Centre at RangeCare Flaxton plays a central role in the delivery of activities and social support programs that many of our clients participate in. Janette is the Kitchen Coordinator and is supported by a small team of regular and committed volunteers.

“My volunteers assist with all kitchen duties, including food preparation, serving morning tea to our clients, making tea and coffee, washing up and cleaning. They are always happy to step in when required”.

“I believe the value of these people who give their time to help us is admirable and never goes unnoticed. They impact our organisation in an incredibly positive way. Their contribution is greatly appreciated by each and every one of us, but for me personally, I would not get as much done in my day without them.”
