RangeCare’s volunteers play a significant role in supporting both our clients and staff. We have an incredible team of over 150 volunteers who typically contribute over 10,000 hours of their time each year. This generosity allows RangeCare to support our clients in living their best life through delivering a comprehensive range of services.

We work with our volunteers to best match their skills and areas of interest with our organisational needs. We offer a welcoming and supportive team environment, with regular training workshops and events for volunteers.

All prospective volunteers will initially attend an interview with one of our Volunteer Coordinators. Other requirements for volunteer roles include:

  • Up to date COVID vaccination as per the Qld Government Mandate

  • Undertaking a background check through obtaining a Disability Worker Screening Clearance (for all roles excluding the RangeCare Op Shop)

  • Reliability and a warm and friendly approach
