To celebrate National Volunteer Week we hosted a morning tea for our wonderful volunteers. This event was our opportunity to thank and celebrate the incredible team of volunteers who share their time, skills, kindness and compassion with clients and staff every day of the week.
“We really are fortunate that members of our local communities have such big hearts and are willing to spend their free time supporting the work we do here at RangeCare. We know that our volunteers don’t expect a lot in terms of recognition and praise, that they volunteer because they enjoy it and get a lot out of it too. But the reality is that they do make an impact, their volunteering helps people, helps our staff and our organisation and so we are very grateful,” - Volunteer Coordinator, Cara Doherty.
“This week is about thanking our amazing volunteers. We are fortunate to have some really long-term volunteers. They all make a special impact on the care that our clients get and are just such amazing people. We are so grateful.” - COO, Gary Holland
The attendees enjoyed a delicious morning tea, some fun games and socialising with other volunteers and staff from the RangeCare team.
