We gave Roley’s hair the chop!

On Monday 21st September 2020, RangeCare’s in-home hairdresser Jojo shaved colleague, Roley Sykes hair as part of a fundraising campaign for Pancare Foundation. Pancare Foundation is Australia’s not-for-profit pancreatic cancer organisation. Their purpose is to increase survival and provide support to people affected by pancreatic cancer and other upper gastrointestinal cancer.

Inspired by his colleague Linda Harrock's recent diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer, Roley created a campaign to raise money, spread awareness and get a free haircut. Click here to read Linda’s story in here own words.

Staff, clients and community members watched in person and streamed live in solidarity.

To date, $7674.00 has been raised for Pancare Foundation through this initiative. Funds raised will provide essential research to fund programs that both support and educate the person living with the diagnosis, the carers and anyone impacted by this horrible cancer.
