The Blackall Range is a line of hills behind the Sunshine Coast in Queensland's South-East corner. The area was originally used for logging and farming. Since then, the area has become a popular retirement destination for people from all over Australia and further afield. The small towns and villages along the range are picturesque, and the green hills and gardens are a delight to all who visit or choose to live there.
Services are delivered by RangeCare in the areas of Kureelpa, Dulong, and Mapleton in the north, to Palmwoods in the east, along the Range to Flaxton, Montville and Maleny in the south and for some services down into Conondale in the west. Rural areas between the villages and towns are also covered.
Partners in Care delivery
While most services delivered by RangeCare are provided by our staff or volunteers, some of our services are delivered by local businesses under contract. These services include mowing and home maintenance, some domestic assistance, subsidised physiotherapy, podiatry, occupational therapy, and professional counselling. All RangeCare contractors have their own public liability insurance, current National Criminal History Record Checks, and any relevant qualifications.
